  1. MEDI-PROMPT Picture of MEDI-PROMPT

Medi-Prompt is a medication reminder program for people with cognitive disabilities or memory issues who need to take medications regularly. It is designed to remind people to take their medications at the proper times and in the proper amounts. Medi-Prompt allows the user to schedule medication is four ways: (1) Ad Hoc will not set up any schedules or alerts but keep a record of what medication is taken and when; (2) Timed Doses allows the user to set his/her own schedule of times during the day; (3) Calculated Doses requires to specify how many doses in the day and the first and last times and the application schedules to space the doses equally, taking into account safe dosage guidelines; and (4) Regular Intervals requires the user to specify the fixed interval between doses and if medication is taken late, Medi-Prompt reschedules the next dose maintaining that interval. Alarms are fully configurable, with a choice of sounds and adjustable repeat times, and they can be silenced or delayed when necessary. For medications prescribed for a finite period of time, Medi-Prompt automatically stops scheduling when course is complete. It can be used for multiple people and medicines. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 4.2 or later.
