   MyTalkTools Mobile is a direct selection and symbolic communicator program designed for use by individuals with communication, learning, or speech disabilities or autism. This program enables an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to function as an alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) system for people who cannot speak or have difficulty speaking. The user chooses the content (grids or boards with images) and plays recorded sounds by touching a cell. Touching a sequence of cells will form a complete sentence. Images are available from Symbolstix and MyTalk Public Library (WiFi or 3G connection required to search), or the user can personalize the boards by using images he or she creates. MyTalkTools Mobile can store up to 32,000 cells. The program includes a 30-day trial of the MyTalk Workspace web application which allows the user to add, edit or select items directly from the web and to back up his or her MyTalkTools content by syncing using wireless Internet access or 3G coverage. Other features include "Video Modeling" for speech therapy practice using the iPad 2 self camera; a Phrase Bar that supports full sentence communication with a digital recorded voice is no audio content is associated with a cell; "Back," "Delete Cell" and "Copy Cell" buttons built into MyTalk Mobile authoring tool; and the ability to copy an entire cell including all of the boards linked to that cell or any part of the cell including the image, video, or sound. The program includes a 30-day trial of the MyTalk Workspace web application which allows the user to add, edit or select items directly from the web and to back up his or her MyTalkTools content by synching using wireless Internet access or 3G coverage.
