Voice Text Pro is a voice input text message program designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or learning disabilities, low vision, blindness or spinal cord injury. This voice recognition system enables hands-free operation of an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to send send text messages. The program converts voice messages into text and send these messages to people in the contact list using the mobile telephone carrier's Email-SMS gateway. The user launches Voice Text Pro, says contact name, says text message, and taps "send" after contact and message are auto loaded into email program. Messages are sent via email but are received as text messages. The receiver can reply via text (message will be received as email) or use Voice Text Pro to send a message. The program comes with many pre-loaded messages and the user can edit/delete these messages as well as create new custom messages to add to the program. Voice Text Pro also allows the user to combine multiple messages together using the “Say More” feature. Other features include editing carrier of contact; browsing and editing pronunciation of contacts; creating nicknames; displaying contact pictures; toggling noise cancellation; shaking to cancel text; turning auto texting (5 second countdown) on and off; turning features on an off by voice; and saying “Google SMS” to auto-load blank text messages to Google SMS service. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 4.0 or later.
