   Conversation Builder is an auditory perceptual and speech training program, a language tutorial program, and a personal and independent living skills tutorial program designed for use by parents and teachers working with children with low vision, learning, communication, cognitive or hearing disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a parent or teacher to use an Apple iPad to help children learn how to have multi-exchange conversations with their peers in a variety of social settings. The auditory pattern of conversation is presented in a visual format to help children recognize and master the flow of conversation. Children will learn when it is appropriate to introduce themselves, ask questions, make observations and change the subject of the conversation. Children can initiate or respond to conversations and record their half of the conversation. Conversations can be four or eight exchanges long, and up to 160 distinct conversations are available. Conversations can also be archived and emailed, and the app comes with two group and two one-on-one conversation settings. A child’s name, age, primary interest and city of residence can be personalized to be used in conversations and a child’s recordings are interlaced with pre-recorded audio to create complete conversations. This application (or app) allows a parent or teacher to use an Apple iPad to help children accomplish the following educational goals: (1) improve sentence ideation; (2) improve sentence formation; and (3) improve receptive and expressive language. The record feature allows a child to record sentences in his or her own voice. Recorded sentences can be saved and emailed. Language Builder comes with 50 distinct images from which to create sentences with an option to expand to 250 images. Three different levels of hints are available with an optional hint button.    Question Builder is an auditory perceptual training program, a language and reading tutorial program, and a writing skills training program designed for use by parents and teachers working with children with low vision, learning, communication, cognitive or hearing disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a parent or teacher to use an Apple iPad to help children learn to answer abstract questions and create responses based on inference. Question Builder comes with three different levels of abstraction, 1200 audio clips of questions and answers, and 60 encouragement animations and audio clips. Audio clip reinforcement can be turned on or off, and questions are in the following formats: Why, What, Where, How and Random. The app also provides statistics to track a child’s progress. 5. RAINBOW SENTENCES

   Rainbow Sentences is a reading, language and vocabulary tutorial program designed for use by children with language, developmental or learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or adults with aphasia. This interactive application (or app) is intended to help the user learn how to recognize the parts of sentences such as nouns, verbs, and prepositions, improve their understanding of how combinations of these parts create basic sentence structure. Students have the opportunity to record their sentences in their own voice to improve their receptive and expressive language skills. Rainbow Sentence has 168 images that correspond to words from which the user can create a sentence by dragging and dropping each image at its proper place in the sentence. The word(s) corresponding to the image are spoken as the image is being dragged, and words can be color coded for added visual support. Word groups can be selected to simplify sentence construction. There are six levels of sentence complexity, and the app offers pictograph lessons to help students learn proper sentence construction. Rainbow Sentences has a record feature allows students to record sentences in their own voice, and the user can save and email recorded sentences. The user earns puzzle pieces during play to encourage continued play, and the puzzles come to life once level is complete. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPad. Sentence Builder comes with 100 distinct pictures to build sentences around, 60 encouragement animations and audio clips, three different levels of play, optional correct sentence audio reinforcement, and statistics to track a child’s progress.    Story Builder is an auditory perceptual training program, a language tutorial program and a story writing program designed for use by parents and teachers working with children with learning, communication, cognitive or hearing disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a parent or teacher to use an Apple iPad to help children accomplish the following educational goals: (1) improve paragraph formation; (2) improve integration of ideas; and (3) improve higher level abstractions by inference. The record feature allows a child to record a narrative in his or her own voice by responding to a series of pre-recorded questions. Recorded answers are stitched together to create complete narrative. Three different levels of play are available. Story Builder comes with 500 audio clips of questions to guide a narrative and 50 distinct story lines from which to create a narrative. Stories can be emailed and archived for later use.
