--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 07/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Tympanic Thermometer measures body temperature through a probe placed in the ear. The unit is portable. Features include: an accurate up to 0.2 degrees centigrade reading within 15 seconds, a readout in Centigrade and Fahrenheit and 5 interchangeable ear probes. The termometer is battery operated with 8 hour operation before recharging. DIMENSIONS: The Thermometer unit is 13 x 9 x 7 inches with a 6 foot probe lead. The probe lead is 5.25 x 6.75 x 2.5 inches. WEIGHT: Thermometer - 2 pounds, Battary charger - 14.5 pounds.
