Picture of AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL SHEEPSKIN The Australian Medical Sheepskin is a decubitus pad designed for use by individuals at risk for pressure sores. The double-chrome tanned, high pile density Merino sheepskin is machine washable (up to 30 degrees Celcius). The soft, springy wool fibers of an Australian Medical Sheepkin absorb pressure from immobile limbs and joints, allow free air circulation, absorb moisture up to 34 percent of their dry weight without feeling wet, and wick the moisture away from the skin. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 42 to 46 inches x 32 to 34 inches. The pile is 30 millimeters. COLOR: Champagne.
