(Verified 12/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. ---The Pilot is a quad cane with a wheeled base designed for use by individuals with walking or balance disabilities. The rolling cane provides the support of a quad cane with a wheeled base which allows constant ground contact, requiring less coordination and energy while walking. This cane also has a second set of lower handles that assists the user in rising from a seated position. A hand brake engages whenever pressure is applied to any of the handles. All three handles are ergonomically contoured. DIMENSIONS: The height adjusts from 28.4 to 37.4 inches. The base is 9.3 inches (across the front wheels) x 12.8 inches and 5 inches across rear wheels. WEIGHT: 3.9 pounds. CAPACITY: 250 pounds.
