(Verified 10/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Jitterbug Dial Phone is a large-button cell phone designed for use by seniors or individuals with low vision, fine motor disabilities, arthritis. Features include a separate on/off button; standard dial tone; large, backlit, bright easy-to-see buttons; full keypad for dialing calls; simple "Yes" and "No" action buttons without confusing icons; on-screen help hints; and large on-screen text. This phone also offers a personal phone list, easy-to-use voice mail, speakerphone function, and volume control. Pressing "0" reaches a live Jitterbug operator. This hearing-aid compatible phone has a padded earpiece to help reduce outside noise and for comfort. The phone's features and phone list can be updated by the user, friend or family member, or by Jitterbug through a secure Web site. POWER: Uses a rechargeable battery (included). An alternating current (AC) recharger is included. Options include extra standard batteries, emergency disposable battery, extra AC charger, and a car charger. OPTIONS: Leather case. DIMENSIONS (LxWxD): Closed, the phone is 4 x 2 x 1 inch deep. WEIGHT:4.4 ounces.
