(Verified 10/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Lapalot is a lap tray designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or mobility disabilities. This portable desk has a solid work surface with rounded corners. Lifting the work surface from the backs allows it to be adjusted to five angles for optimal positioning. Underneath the work surface is a large storage compartment and strong magnets keep the lid closed for transport. The desk is equipped with a padded wrist rest and a collapsible carrying handle. The base of the desk is a Lycra cushion base filled with foam beads to conform to the user's lap. OPTIONS: Laplighter clip-on light with a flexible gooseneck. DIMENSIONS (WxDxH): The desk is 25.5 x 16.5 x 4.75 inches and the storage compartment is 12.5 x 9 x 1.5 inches. WEIGHT: 8.5 pounds. COLOR: Cherry veneer top in a choice of natural or dark cherry.
