Picture of CHOICE 4 COMMUNICATOR (MODEL 1237) The Choice 4 Communicator, model 1237, is a direct selection transitional communicator designed for use by individuals with communication or speech disabilities. This 12- level communicator with auditory cueing has space for four picture icons (not included) and a total of 300 seconds of recording time. Bright lights allow objects, photographs, or icons to be illuminated in sequence. The user has the choice of working with one field at a time or adding up to four fields by pressing two cells and covering the unused field with black icon covers (included). Cell selection is made by direct selection or single-switch scanning. The scanning speed is adjustable for two, six, or nine seconds. The unit offers a choice of one of three broadcast options: speaker, headphones, or speaker and headphones simultaneously (headphones not included). POWER: Uses 4 D batteries. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 3 x 8 x 15.5 inches.
