PERSONAL PA FM LISTENING SYSTEM (MODEL PPA 375)
The Personal PA FM Listening System, model PPA 375, is an FM amplification system designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The system comes with a T35 transmitter that configures itself to the appropriate settings after the user chooses between voice, music, or hearing assistance in the preset application menu. The operating distance is up to 1,000 feet allowing the system to be used in auditoriums, stadiums, theaters, and other large venues without environmental distractions or background noises. The speaker wears a body-pack-style wireless transmitter equipped with a lapel microphone, and the listener wears a body-pack- style wireless receiver that picks up the message from the speaker. The volume can be adjusted to accommodate each listener individually. The system comes with four single-channel R35 receivers with earphones. POWER: Transmitter uses wall mount Class II transformer with 120 volts alternating current (VAC) input and 24 VAC output. The receiver uses 2 double-A alkaline batteries. Earphone batteries are included. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): Transmitter is 1.72 x 8.18 x 8.45 inches and the receiver is 1.2 x 4.1 x 2.85 inches. WEIGHT: Transmitter weighs 3.1 pounds and the receiver weighs 4.5 ounces. COLORS: Transmitter is black with white legends. The receiver is gray. WARRANTY: 5 years (parts and labor).
