HUBSCRUB (MODEL 20 / 30)    

The HUBSCRUB, model 20/30 is wheelchair cleaning system designed to clean, sanitize, and disinfect wheelchairs and other durable medical equipment. The system is housed in an aluminum cabinet with a door on the front. Within the cabinet are recessed, moving nozzles that spray hot (110 degrees Fahrenheit) water provided by a 1 horsepower wash pump. Water drains into a stainless steel internal sink from which water is pumped out by a .33 horsepower drain pump through a raised drain line two to three inches off of the floor. During operation, water is filtered and recycled through the wash pump. Liquid detergents can be placed in measured amounts into the internal sink and dispensed through the spray system; other chemicals are injected into the internal sink during operation through an open valve with a flow sensor and metering pump. Each cleaning cycle takes two to ten minutes, depending on the cycle selected. There are windows on the top of the unit and on the door. The HUBSCRUB 20/30 has two swivel casters on the front and two fixed casters on the rear for mobility and pull handles are located on the front of the cabinet. A control panel is located on the top of the unit above the door. The unit must be connected to a source of hot tap water via a standard garden hose male faucet thread, and it requires access to a utility sink or floor drain capable of draining at a flow rate of six gallons per minute. The model 20/30 accommodates two folded wheelchairs, two commodes, two shower chairs, two over-bed tables, multiple walkers, or combinations of different washable equipment. POWER: Uses a standard 115-volt, 20-amp circuit. DIMENSIONS(HxLxW): The exterior is 59 x 57 x 35.5 inches and the wash chamber interior is 47 x 49 x 28.75 inches. The door is (HxW) 42 x 30.75 inches. Allow 4 feet of space in front of the unit for loading and unloading. Allow 3 feet behind the unit to allow space for changing chemical containers. The drain hose is 2 inches in diameter.
