Picture of ANIMAS 2020 INSULIN PUMP The Animas 2020 Insulin Pump is an audible insulin pump designed for use by individuals with diabetes, including those who are blind or have low vision. This automatic pump delivers insulin at a basal rate of 0.025 units per hour to keep blood sugar steady between meals and during sleep. The user can establish up to four personalized basal programs and set times for insulin-to-carb ratios, insulin sensitivity factors (ISF), and blood glucose targets in 30-minute increments, with up to 12 personal settings. The pump's Audio Bolus/ezBolus button allows the user to program a bolus using audible tones to confirm programming and delivery. The pump's high-contrast flat panel color display screen is self-illuminating and viewable from a wide angle. Pump alerts can be delivered as a tune or vibration. The unit is waterproof at 12 feet for up to 24 hours. POWER: Uses 1 double-A (1.5V) lithium battery. DIMENSIONS: 2 x 3 x 0.88 inches. COLOR: Pink glow, limelight, blue, silver or black. WARRANTY: Four-year limited warranty.
