Picture of ACCUGAIT AccuGait is a portable computerized gait analysis system designed for use in gait assessment. The system consists of a platform with a composite material top plate and Hall effect sensing elements. The unit interfaces directly with a laptop computer via a built-in amplifier. Analog outputs are optional. Data are provided for force and movent along x-y-z coordinates, with the z axis oriented downward, the y axis oriented away from the connector, and the x axis oriented to the left. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 1.73 x 19.69 x 19.69 inches. CAPACITY: Load capacity is 100 pounds along the x and y axes, and 600 pounds along the z (vertical) axis. WEIGHT: 26 pounds.

Notes: The manufacturer states that during gait, loads on the z axis can be in the order of 140 percent of body weight, so body weight capacity is lower than the stated load capacity.
