Picture of PICTURE SENTENCE MATCH Picture Sentence Match is a visual symbol training system designed for use by children with cognitive, communication, or speech disabilities. This program helps students learn to identify and match a sequence of Picture Communication Symbols (PCS) with the corresponding sentence. The program presents either a random picture or a random sentence. The student then selects the matching sentence or the matching picture from two, three, or four choices. The action described by the sentence is shown, spoken, and/or animated. A teacher can set up the difficulty level and number of pictures or sentences to match. The program also provides options for voicing, reinforcement, and display. Other options include normal or inverse scanning and access by switch controls, head pointer, or other devices.
