Picture of SMARTVIEW GRADUATE The SmartView Graduate is a video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. It can magnify up to 50 times in two modes: (1) desktop mode to read papers or other materials that can be laid flat on the base or (2) distance mode to read writing on a blackboard or a presentation. There are zoom in and out buttons on the camera or the zoom can be controlled from a computer to which the Graduate is connected. The Graduate has a color camera with autofocus and 360-degree rotation. It can take snapshots of images and stores them on a computer as JPEG files. Other features include adjustable contrast and brightness, high-contrast viewing modes and image freezing. The unit splits into three main components that fit in a computer bag and can be reassembled when in use. POWER: The unit can be powered from a computer using two USB 2.0 cables. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 12 x 9 x 15.5 inches. WEIGHT: 2.5 pounds.
