The Delta Ultra Light 1000 Full-Electric Low Bed, model 15035, is a motorized bed designed for use by individuals with severe physical or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This bed can be raised and lowered at three independent points, the head, knee and foot, and the entire bed can be raised and lowered to facilitate transfer. The headboards and footboards are interchangeable with Drive's and some other manufacturers bed ends. FRAME: The frame includes woodgrain head- and footboards and a zinc-coated spring deck. CONTROLS: Controls are located at on a handheld controller with large buttons. CASTERS: Four swiveling casters are standard. OPTIONS: Full length side rails; half rails; 80-inch inner spring mattress; 80-inch foam mattress; 80-inch therapeutic support mattress; extension kit extends length of mattress base from 80 to 84 inches. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 88 x 36 inches. The height adjusts from 9.5 to 23.5 inches. POWER: Two electric drive modules. In the event of a power failure, a 9-volt battery, located in the motor, can lower the head and foot sections 9 times. A hand crank (included) at the top of the footboard can also be used when necessary. CAPACITY: 450 pounds. WEIGHT: 167 pounds. WARRANTY: 5 years on motor and hand control, Limited Lifetime on welds and frame, 1 year on all other parts and components.
