Picture of EMERGENCY SIGNS AND WORDS Emergency Signs and Words is a safety awareness and independent living tutorial program for people with cognitive disabilities. It is designed to teach and reinforce the warning signs and words relating to emergency or medical situations in the home, community, workplace and in school. It includes words and phrases for health conditions requiring medical care; first aid; emergency services; medical personnel and services; and hospital furnishings and equipment. The application contains 80 videos and is narrated with human-quality audio. One instance of Emergency Signs and Words can be used on the same device by multiple people and administered by a therapist or care provider in a password-protected administration section. The administrator can make specific assignments for each user based on individual needs. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 4.2 or later.
