Picture of BRAUN RA 300 TRANSIT RAMP The Braun RA300 Transit Ramp is a hydraulic bus ramp designed to provide wheelchair access for a low-floor bus. The ramp comes in a self-contained drop-in unit. When stored, the bi-fold ramp section folds onto itself and then back onto the base. When the ramp is extended, the first section is raised hydraulically and once it passes 90 degrees vertical, it is allowed to lower to its partially extended position using gravity; then the second section uses a similar procedure to reach it fully extended position. It closes in a similar manner. It has a manual override in case of power loss or malfunction. No pre-assembly is required. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 27.77 x 36.77 x 11.22 inches when stowed; 75.77 x 36.77 inches (LxW) with ramp extended. It has an 8 degree incline. The ramp is 32 inches wide between the siderails. POWER: 12-volt DC hydraulic (24-volt DC optional).
