Stickybear Phonics 3 is an academic and pre-reading skills tutorial program designed for children from kindergarten through fourth grade who have learning or developmental disabilities. Students learn to build knowledge by sounding out words. The program features integrated video for every lesson. The lessons begin with prefixes, continue to suffixes, and finish with compound words. Actors in the video demonstrate the material, allowing children to see how the mouth shapes sound and to hear each word pronounced. Users will reproduce each sound after demonstration. The self-paced lessons also include animated short stories and interactive on-screen activities. Review and practice are stressed in the video segments and animations encourage performance. The school versions and above also come with freely reproducible lesson plans and manipulative masters. COMPATIBILITY: Windows.
