Picture of BOTTOMS UP BAR ADJUSTABLE BASE UNIT The Bottoms Up Bar Adjustable Base Unit is a transfer aid designed for people with lower extremity and mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury and lower extremity amputees. It allows a person to use the Bottoms Up Bar (see separate record) transfer from a parked wheelchair or a chair, sofa or other sitting furniture to a seated position on the ground or floor and from the floor or ground back into the chair. The four legs of the Bottoms Up Bar are placed into holes in the Base Unit's frame to allow the Bar to stand independently and remain stable while in use. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 23 x (22 to 34) inches. WEIGHT: 5.5 pounds. COLOR: Black.
