Picture of JUMPSTART LEAP FROG BRACE The JumpStart Leap Frog Brace is an ankle foot orthosis designed for use by children with balance, lower extremity, or walking disabilities. This brace helps young children with correctable moderate to strong pronation and supination to re-align their base of support for improved stability in standing and walking. The brace has a precision-molded double shell, one nested inside the other, providing full wrap-around flexible support that encompasses the foot and ankle for pronation and supination control. A well-defined plantar surface and compression provides proprioceptive input. A solid outer foundation adds extra arch support and heel stability. A supra-malleolar (SMO) trimline guides medial/lateral ankle alignment and fully encompasses the heel and forefoot for alignment control. The brace is slim enough to fit into most users' normal shoes. Straps are standard and attached; toe rise and instep pad are included on request. SIZES: Wide or narrow width. DIMENSIONS: Available in lengths of 4 to 9 inches in increments of 0.25 inches.
