WEB LV
Web LV is a voice output Internet access device and word processor designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This device allows the user to access the Internet and do personal computer functions such as e-mail and word processing without a personal computer. Commands are entered through a keyboard and Pick `n Click (PnC) menus. Using a phone line or network connection, the device provides e-mail and Internet access through speech synthesis and screen enlargement. It can be connected to a television, CCTV, or VGA monitor. When it is connected to a television, either with a composite or S-Video connection, the device uses the speakers built into the television, and switching between TV operation and Internet/e-mail/word processing is done with the television's remote control TV/Video button. Connecting to a CCTV monitor (not included) allows the user to magnify printed documents while performing Internet/e-mail functions with speech in a compact space. Switching between the Internet device and CCTV operation is done with the A/B switch built into some CCTVs. OPTIONS: Modem, speakers, and a printer. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 2.5 x 8.5 x 11 inches.
