Picture of ZACC ZACC is a desktop CCTV designed for use by individuals with low vision. This CCTV is a high-resolution full color desktop video magnifier with a ball bearing mounted X-Y table for positioning of material to be viewed. It can be used for reading text or multicolor magazines, looking at photographs, or doing hand work such as small repairs, crafts, writing cards and letters, or doing crossword puzzles. The unit is controlled with a small four-button keypad that can be conveniently placed where the user wishes. There is no focus control; focusing is automatic and instantaneous. Two buttons control the magnification, allowing the user to smoothly zoom in and out to obtain the desired magnification. Another button switches between color and black-and-white viewing modes. The fourth button switches between regular black on white and reverse image, which shows white type on a black background, for reduced glare while reading. The camera has a wide angle and can see the entire width of a business letter or magazine page. When the wide angle image is displayed on a large screen TV (27 inches or larger), users can orient themselves on the page, then zoom in to read at whatever magnification they prefer, keeping as much of the page as possible on screen. This minimizes or eliminates the need to move the page back and forth beneath the camera, making reading easier. Magnification ranges are 1.4 to 22 times for a 13-inch TV, two to 34 times for a 20-inch TV, 2.8 to 44 times for a 26-inch TV, and 3.8 to 59 times for a 35-inch TV. WEIGHT: 11 pounds with carrying case (included).

Notes: Shipping and handling charges are not included in the purchase price listed.

Price: 1795.00.
