Picture of ABLENET BOOKWORM LITERACY TOOL The AbleNet Bookworm Literacy Tool is a voice output reading machine designed for use by children with cognitive, severe physical, or vision disabilities. To use the unit, which works with most books and worksheets, the reading material is clipped to the BookWorm unit and the book is adapted with the included stickers and page detectors. Each page is recorded on the included memory module. Reading is activated by pressing the activation area or using the attached single switch (switch not included). The unit is also equipped with a heaqdphone jack for private listening. The set includes the BookWorm, a memory module, and stickers and page detectors to adapt four books. OPTIONS: Keyguard; four-book adaptation package with stickers, page detectors, and an additional memory module;and a sticker and page detector package. DIMENSIONS: The unit is 8.5 x 8.25 x 2.1 inches. WEIGHT: 1.5 pounds.
