Picture of ON THE FARM On the Farm is a cause and effect training program designed for use by children with learning, cognitive, upper extremity, and fine motor disabilities or spinal cord injury. This program has five different types of activities with farm themes, all accessible by mouse, touchscreen, keyboard or switches at the same time. Users can build up a scene, one picture at a time, by pressing the mouse, spacebar, or switch; place pictures on a background scene; click on an area to see the word, hear a sound effect, and hear the word spoken; label a scene using the words given; or create a scene using a background and pictures, and adding text. Users can also click on an area of the farm scene to visit the henhouse, pigpen, field, or farmyard. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM or compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows operating system; CD-ROM drive.
