(Verified 08/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The PhD Pen and the PhD Pencil are an easy grasp pen and an easy grasp pencil designed for use by individuals with arthritis or fine motor disabilities. The smooth ball point pen and the mechanical pencil (sold individually) have integral large triangular cushioned grasps for better writing control and balance. The non-slip grasps also reduce pressure. Both the pen and pencil are refillable and retractable. OPTIONS: Pencil lead refills are available.
