Picture of PERSONAL ALARM (MODEL 8202L) The Personal Alarm, model 8202L, is a wandering patient system designed to alert caregivers when individuals with cognitive, mobility, or balance disabilities leave a bed, chair, wheelchair, or toilet without assistance. This unit offers five selectable alarm tones and the volume of the alarm may be decreased using the sound dampening plug. The adjustable alarm cord attaches to the individual's clothing using the included clip. Two mounting options enable use on a toilet, chair or wheelchair, or bed. POWER: Provides up to six months of monitoring using a 9-volt alkaline battery. The unit features a low-battery warning light. DIMENSIONS: The cord adjusts from 31 to 60 inches. WARRANTY: Lifetime warranty.
