RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. -- The Featherweight Reacher is designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or those who have difficulty bending or stretching to reach or pick up objects. This lightweight reacher has an aluminum shaft, a plastic pistol grip and trigger-style closer, and a slip-resistant Gripcert claw-style jaw. Other features include a magnetic tip for retrieving small metal objects, and a plastic clip to attach the reacher to a wheelchair, walker, or bed rail. The reacher is available in a folding or non-folding models and the non-folding models feature a lug on the top to pull objects toward the user. SIZES: Standard, long, folding, and compact. DIMENSIONS: The standard model is 26 inches long, the long model is 32 inches long, the folding model is 21.25 inches long, and the compact model is 15.75 inches long. WEIGHT: The standard model weighs 7 ounces, the long model weighs 8 ounces, the folding model weighs 7.5 ounces, and the compact model weighs 5.5 ounces.
