The Locator Alarm is a wandering patient system designed to enable caregivers to locate individuals who are prone to falls and have left their wheelchairs. This lightweight alarm is worn around the waist on a special belt that is not easily removable and is concealed in an attached protective pouch that is not easily accessible to persons with disabilities. The belt features a buckle that is concealed once it is secured. The alarm signal is decibel-controlled in order to make it auditory for staff or other caregivers, but is not so loud that it startles others nearby. POWER: Uses one replaceable 9-volt battery (included) with a battery life of up to six months. DIMENSIONS: The alarm can be heard up to 125 feet away. WEIGHT: Six ounces.
