Picture of LATERAL SUPPORT ORTHOSIS (SERIES 7022) The Lateral Support Orthosis is a lateral trunk support designed for use by individuals who use wheelchairs. Designed to facilitate an erect sitting posture, this orthosis is made of contoured plastic foam, padded with foam for comfort, and covered with a durable spray-and-wipe clean cover. The orthosis accommodates all torso heights and the lateral support wings can be adjusted by adding foam to the wing pockets or by warming the plastic frame with a heat gun and adjusting the wings. The foam backrest pad may also be customized. DIMENSIONS: Available with backrest heights of 19, 24, or 33 inches.
