Picture of AMERIPHONE PORTABLE TELEPHONE HANDSET AMPLIFIER (MODEL HA40) The Ameriphone Portable Telephone Handset Amplifier, model HA40, is a handset amplifier designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. This unit increases incoming sounds up to 40 decibels (dB). The hearing-aid compatible device is compatible with most home and office phones and connects between the handset and the phone base. Standard features include slide controls for volume and tone selection and a boost button to maximize amplification and block background noise and feedback by muting the microphone in the handset. POWER: Uses one 9-volt battery (included). WARRANTY: One year.
