This organizer features a telephone directory, a voice note pad, a meeting planner, a clock, a calculator, an international telephone assistance feature, and a control panel. The control panel enables customization of the device with a choice of six languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Chinese), a choice of how many phone numbers are to be associated with a single name, and adjustable volume and speed of telephone numbers dialed. The telephone directory function enables the user to speak a person's name to locate his or her telephone numbers; the unit then speaks the telephone number. The unit also functions as a dialer. The directory permits storage of up to six telephone numbers and an address for each person and has a capacity of approximately 1,500 entries. The voice notepad offers full digital dictaphone functions, with 6 minutes, 25 seconds of recording time in high quality mode and 13 minutes in normal mode. This feature offers continuous recording without pressing on the click button, fast forward, rewind, pause, insert, and replace. The meeting planner permits recording and checking of meetings. The purpose and place can be dictated and the time and date are keyed in. The time and date are spoken and the unit can page the user. Meetings can be located using a keyword. The clock feature offers all the functions of a musical alarm clock, talking clock and alarm, and the date and time in U.S. and European formats. The calculator is a five-function talking calculator. The telephone assistance feature provides international dialing capability that automatically converts phone numbers to the format of the country in which the user is located.
