GENTEX CORDLESS SMOKE DETECTOR WITH VISUAL SIGNALING APPLIANCE (MODEL 71001)
The Gentex Cordless Smoke Detector with Visual Signaling Appliance, model 71001, is a smoke alarm designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This device features a 90 decibel horn and a built-in 177 candela strobe light, both of which are activated when smoke is detected. Flashing lights will stay on and the horn will continue as long as smoke exists. The unit also has a three-position full-function test switch. POWER: This unit plugns into a standard electrical outlet and has a nine-foot cord. Battery backup is optional.
