Looking for Words is a vocabulary tutorial program designed for use with children with cognitive disabilities. This CD-ROM software program uses graphics, audio, and animation to teach community, home, and school words. As children move from one area to another, they learn the words associated with that area; whenever an object is clicked on, it names itself. This program features adjustable difficulty levels and enables the creation of word lists to be searched for. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh computers or IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For Macintosh systems, System 7 or higher and a CD-ROM drive; for IBM and compatible computers, Windows95, a sound card, and a CD-ROM drive.
