EZ RIDER SELF-DRIVE (MODELS 174SP, 174MBSP, 174TBSP & 174TSP)

(Verified 4/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE --- The EZ Rider Self-Drive is an attendant-propelled child transport chair or stroller that enables children to propel themselves. This chair is designed for use with children ages 5 to 13 who have some upper body control. FRAME (LxWxH): Folding, lightweight, flexible steel frame with black powder coat finish. Models 174MBSP and 174TBSP have been crash tested and include tie-down brackets. Models 174MSP and 174MBSP are 44 x 23 x 36.5 inches open and 44 x 13 x 12.25 inches folded; models 174TSP and 174TBSP are 46 x 26.5 x 36.25 inches open and 44 x 13.25 x 13.75 folded. Pushrim-style drive wheels are mounted on the frame above the rear wheels for self-propulsion. Positive drive belts connect the drive wheels to the rear wheels. SEAT: A sling seat is standard. A reinforced seat with stiffeners and standard or reinforced seats cut back 2 inches are available. The seat is 14.75 inches wide for Model 174MSP and 174MBSP and 17.75 inches for models 174TSP and 174TBSP. The seat depth is adjustable from 10.5 to 13.5 inches on the 174MSP models and from 12 to 15 inches on the 174TSP models. The back is 19.75 inches high on the MSP models and 17.25 inches on the TSP models. The seat to footrest distance adjusts from 1.75 to 19 inches on the MSP models an from 2 to 22 inches on the TSP models. The seat-to-back angle is 100 degrees on all models. UPHOLSTERY: Removable purple fabric upholstery is standard; ocean blue, navy blue, teal, burgundy, and raspberry are also available. ARMRESTS: Foam padded armrests are standard. BRAKES: Toggle brakes on the rear wheels are standard. CASTERS: 6-inch front casters are standard. WHEELS: 8-inch rear wheels are standard; 11-inch wheels are available for all models. FOOTRESTS: Independently adjustable, swing-away footplates are optional. OPTIONS: Trunk support with waist belt, torso vest, hip abductors, shoulder straps and padded strap covers, headrest extension, and others. CAPACITY: 175 pounds for the MSP models and 250 pounds for the TSP models. WEIGHT: Model 174MSP is 31 pounds and model MBSP is 33 pounds; model 174TSP is 32 pounds and model TBSP is 34 pounds. WARRANTY: This product is warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for five years.
