Picture of OVAL TEXTURE SWITCH (MODELS 711-S, 711-M, & 711-X) The Oval Texture Switch, models 711-S, 711-M, and 711-X, are touch switches designed for use by children with physical or neurological disabilities. Available in two sizes, the switch's bumpy surface invites touch and switch activation. Model 711-X comes with a connector box that allows the switch to operate in momentary, timed, or latch modes. In momentary mode, the toy or device stays on as long as the user maintains pressure on the switch. In latch mode, the toy or device turns on when the switch is pressed once and turns off when the switch is pressed again. In timed mode, the toy or device stays on for a preset amount of time (0 to 120 seconds). POWER: Connector box (model 711-X uses 1 9-volt battery. SIZES: Small (model 711-S) or medium (models 711-M and 711-X). DIMENSIONS: 4.5 inch diameter (711-S) or 9 inch diameter (711-M and 711-X). Connector box (711-X) is 1 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches.COLOR: Bright blue base with a yellow surface.
