Scan It--Switch It is a scanning symbol communicator program and control switch training program designed to teach horizontal and vertical scanning using a single switch or TouchWindow (see separate entry) to 1 to 4 people with disabilities. Instruction progresses through five levels of difficulty from capturing a single object to using scanning to match objects. Users may select from 10 objects, using 1 to 3 boxes. Boxes may be large or small, and may be vertical or horizontal. The program allows the number of errors before a cue is given and the number of correct answers to end the game to be set. Players names may be entered and record keeping is available. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple IIGS, Macintosh, and IBM computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple IIGS computers require a color monitor and an Echo Speech Synthesizer; Macintosh computers require a color monitor and Echo LC; IBM computers require an EGA monitor, Echo PC or Sound Blaster (see separate entry), and 512 Kilobytes RAM. WARRANTY: Faulty disks will be replaced within 6 months of the date of purchase.
