(Verified 08/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Seek and Find is a pre-reading tutorial program and perceptual training activity and training system for matching/sorting/assembly designed to teach matching, figure and ground discrimination, and auditory discrimination to children ages 3 to 5 years. Utilizing four scenes (park, campground, the city, and a play room), three levels of play are provided. Level I asks the child to find the item to match in the scene; Level II has the child find the requested item without a visual prompt; Level III requires the child to identify an object by its sound. Selections are made using an overlay for a PowerPad (see separate entry), IntelliKeys, or TouchWindow (see separate entry). The Apple IIGS version allows play by 1 to 4 users, while the Macintosh allows play by 1 to 12 users. The complete set includes a program disk and an overlay. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple IIGS or Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple IIGS computers require a color monitor an Echo Speech Synthesizer, and a PowerPad or TouchWindow; Macintosh computers require a color monitor, Echo LC, and IntelliKeys or TouchWindow. WARRANTY: Faulty disks will be replaced within 6 months of the date of purchase.
