The Elasto-Gel Therapy Mitten, model TM7001, is a hot or cold pack designed for the treatment of injured or arthritic hands prior to and after rehabilitation exercises. When used for heat treatment, the mitten provides a moist warm heat which is readily trasmitted to the muscles and joints and helps to restore hand flexibility. This mitten-shaped wrap is made of a flexible gel covered with a four-way stretch material which allows maximum conformity, heat transfer, and comfort. The gel can be heated or autoclaved at temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, or freezed at temperatures as low as -20 degrees. The mitten will remain cool for 20 to 40 minutes, and will provide heat for 20 to 30 minutes. This pack may be cooled in a freezer or heated in conventional or microwave oven, crockpot, or hydrocollator. COLOR: Blue.
