The Folding Teakwood Shower Seat ##9559 is designed to be wall mounted in the shower and to fold up and out of the way when not in use. The frame is made of 18 gauge stainless steel tubing with Heliarc welding. The seat is made of 3 handrubbed teakwood slats with rounded edges. The wall bracket is made of 16 gauge stainless steel with piano hinges, and the retaining bracket is 11 gauge stainless steel with positive, bullet-type catch to hold the seat securely in an up or down position. MOUNTING: The seat is secured to the wall with mounting screws (included) at holes provided. Concealed backing or anchors as specified by an architect should be provided before the finished wall is applied. Manufacturer recommends the holes should be located 16 1/16 inches above finished floor for comfortable adult use. DIMENSIONS: Seat is 17 (W) x 16 (D) x 1.5 inches; steel tubing is 1 inch in diameter. WEIGHT: 14 pounds.
