--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 08/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- TouchCom is a direct selection communicator program designed for beginning literacy. This authoring program allows designing a personalized talking word board and vocabulary for the Dunamis PowerPad (see separate entry). This program can be used for emergent literacy skills, cognitive retraining and communication aid training. 10 vocabularies can be stored on the TouchCom disk, and more can be stored on additional disks. Using this program, words onthe screen can be matched to picutres on the overlay. Speech output can be used during communication training. Multiple overlays and phrases may be constructed. Three font sizes are available for text display. The last entry or the entire message may be repeated on the screen, and the last character or word entered may be deleted. A print option is also available. Extra overlay grids are available separately. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple IIe (128K enhanced) and Apple IIGS. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 5.25-inch disk drive, a Dunamis PowerPad, and an ECHO II voice synthesizer.
