The True Gray Scanner, model AG-800 Plus, is a scanner designed to scan text and graphics into a computer for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Users can use this handheld scanner to input information into computer programs and then retrieve them using screen reader programs or screen magnification programs. This model supports true 256 gray levels and 64 gray levels (dithered).
