The TCA Toglia Category Assessment, Model K11060, is a cognitive rehabilitation evaluation program designed for persons with cognitive and mental disabilities. The assessment kit consists of plastic utensils which the subject is asked to sort by color, size and type to establish the ability to categorize and switch concepts. Detailed and systemic guidelines are provided to facilitate performance through the use of cues and help determine and design an appropriate intervention program. The easily transportable test has been used on subjects from ages 18 to 86 and can be administered anywhere, including at bedside, in 15 to 25 minutes. The kit comes with an instruction manual.
