The New Way: Learning with Literature Series Big Books and the New Way White Lap Books with Words are large print books designed for use by children with low vision. Both series are large format books with short stories and full-color illustrations. Stories include original stories, fairy tales, fables, and traditional stories, and are designed to stimulate personal writing, self-expression, critical thinking, and creativity. They feature rhythm and predictable outcomes. The New Way Big Books are designed for reading levels 1 and 2 and include 6 titles: "The DragonHunt," "The Gingerbread Boy," "The Lion and the Mouse," "The Ant and the Dove," "The Ants and the Grasshopper," and "My Cat's Surprise." The New Way White Series is intended for reading levels 0 to 1 and also offers 6 titles: "Come on Mom," "Paint," "Sandwiches," "The Sand Picnic," "I Can," and "A Birthday." DIMENSIONS: Each volume is 18 x 24 inches.
