SHAPE BOARD (MODEL 1-03710-00)
Designed to provide primary-elementary level child with opportunity to discriminate, sort, and classify geometric figures according to size, shape, color and/or position. Also aids in understanding of directional terms. Consists of green 14 1/4 by 22 1/2 inch board which is mounted with five rows of 3/4 inch yellow flexible pegs, three to each row. Five sets of geometric shapes are included with the board. Each set is made up of one small, three medium, and one large piece of the same shape. The shapes are 1/8 inch thick pieces which are designed to be hung on the board. Included are: five blue circles, five brown triangles, five orange squares, five red rectangles and five yellow pentagons. The shapes are painted gray on one side and high-contrast colors on the other. All shapes are smooth to the touch on both sides.
