Budget Town and Budget City, models BT-01Q and BC-01Q, are money management training systems designed to teach sequenced money skills to people ages 8 years old and up who have mental retardation or learning disabilities. Budget Town is the introductory game using color-coding, picture cues, and cash-only transactions to teach basic budget concepts. This game includes a game board, 48 pay/collect cards, 16 mail cards, money set, 1 die, 6 pawns, and instructions. Budget City is a more advanced two-level game. The first level is an easier, introductory segment. The second level teaches advanced money handling strategies such as check writing, savings account deposits, credit card debt payment, and interest collection on certificates of deposit (CD). The game comes complete with a game board, reproducible masters, 48 pay/collect cards, 32 category cards, 2 banker boards, 2 player's guide cards, 8 credit cards, 12 credit card receipts, 12 CDs, check pad, checkbook/savings register, budget sheets, 6 checkbook covers, 6 pencils, 6 pawns, 1 die, money set, and instructions.
