--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 05/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Add on power units for bikes or trikes. Three models: 50K is 1/2 horsepower, 100K is 1 horsepower, 150K is 1 1/2 horsepower. Each unit includes motor system and mounting brackets, battery case and nuts and bolts. Uses one or two 12 volt batteries. Instant start does not require pedaling. Top motor speeds, 8 to 15 mph. Consists of motor and friction drive head mounted above front tire. Control is mounted on handgrip. Some pedal assistance may be needed on hills.

Notes: Not recommended for heavy use in hilly terrain by operators who cannot pedal independently. Friction drive system may cause excessive wear to tires because of rough surface.
