RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. -- SVOX Mobile ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) is a voice input program designed to enable access for users with physical or visual disabilities. Embedded in a mobile device, this program enables data entry or control through voice input. The program has a rich choice of languages, and is capable of recognition of words and phrases originating from several languages. Noise reduction techniques enable speech recognition in high-noise environments. Available in a wide variety of footprints and configurations, the program can scale from basic handsets to powerful smartphones, all using the same uniform base technology. Porting to various embedded environments is straightforward thanks to platform-independent, modular architecture. The program is available in three main configurations: SVOX Mobile ASR Lite, SVOX Mobile ASR Standard, and SVOX Mobile ASR Advanced.
