Picture of ACTIFLO CATHETER KIT WITH DRAINABLE ODOR-BARRIER COLLECTION BAGS (MODELS 32004 & 32005) The ActiFlo Catheter Kit with Drainable Odor-Barrier Collection Bags, models 32004 and 32005, is a fecal drainage system designed for use by individuals with incontinence who cannot use a toilet, commode, or bedpan. The system manages fecal incontinence to reduce skin breakdown that can lead to the formation of pressure ulcers, and to minimize the spread of infections related to fecal incontinence. This bowel management system uses gravity irrigation to remain open and unobstructed. The system provides access for rectal medication delivery and retention, and it facilitates stool sampling while the system remains in place. A collapse-resistant cylinder and low-pressure retention cuff help minimize leakage and tube expulsion. The system can be used to manage stool of varying consistency. The collection bags contain a film designed to control odor associated with stool. The kit include a catheter, a 3000-milliliter drainable odor-barrier collection bag, two hydrocolloid skin barriers, two lubricating jelly packets, a syringe, a 1000-milliliter irrigation bag, and an instruction booklet. DIMENSIONS: Length of catheter is 4 centimeters (32004) or 6 centimeters (32005).
